His passing will be a great loss to the many organisations he devoted his time to over so many years. Maurice showed such support for his family sitting through endless pantos, village celebrations and fetes. Litton has a gem of a memory of him completing, with panache, the Church Fete obstacle course to encourage my sister, who at the time was 60 odd and not so hot to trot. Maurice was 80. Both finished with giggling delight and revived beautifully with another small glass of fete cider for medicinal purposes...

As neighbours and friends of Cathy, Martin and Harry, we have been privileged to have had many a happy encounter with Maurice and Molly. We will always remember Maurice for his kind and caring nature, along with his cheeky humour. You really couldn’t wish to meet a nicer more genuine person. Thoughts with you all.

I feel a warmth around me
like your presence is so near.
And I close my eyes to visualize
your face when you were here.
I endure the times we spent together,
and they are locked inside my heart.
As long as I have those memories,
we will never be apart.
Even though we cannot speak anymore,
